During this event :
* The Fairmont Monte-Carlo received three high-quality awards: Best European Hotel, Best Monaco Hotel and Highly Commended Spa
*The Majestic Barrière also received three awards: Best Hotel in France, Best Hotel Architecture in France and Best Resort Hotel in France
They were granted by a jury of 20 professionals from the hotel business on the basis of a 150-page document to rate establishments on the basis of such criteria as hotel service and facilities available to customers, rewards and prizes received, location, environmental commitment, interior-exterior architecture and decoration, marketing and website, etc.
